Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer wholesale?
Of course! For wholesale orders, please reach out to Orders@SouthEastEdibles.com.
Is your product organic?
While the oil that we infuse is not certified organic, we can assure you that we review lab results carefully for any trace amounts of pesticides, sprays, or synthetic fertilizers. We only procure from farms that avoid these elements. We also only use the highest quality, natural ingredients in our chocolates. They are soy-, dairy-, and gluten-free and are made without any artificial flavorings.
Can I pass a drug test after using your product?
While our products contain only minute amounts of THC, Southeast Edibles makes NO guarantees that any person will pass a drug test after using our products. Many do, but some may not. Very little research exists on this subject, so we cannot offer any insight regarding what amounts may cause you to pass or not pass a drug test.
Why does Southeast Edibles use full-spectrum CBD with small amounts of THC, while other companies advertise zero THC?
Full Spectrum HEMP Extract contains many different cannabinoids, including tiny amounts of THC that grow naturally in the hemp plant. This natural occurrence is known as the "entourage effect." Many cannabinoid experts believe that the entourage effect allows your body to better absorb and break down Full Spectrum HEMP Extract, more so than Full Spectrum HEMP Extract isolate. Products without any THC may appeal to customers who are concerned about potentially failing a drug test, but at Southeast Edibles, we believe very strongly that a full spectrum product delivers a better reaction.
Can I get high from eating this product?
No! Our product does not contain enough THC to "get you high."
Can I overdose from overeating?
No recorded cases exist of anyone dangerously overdosing CBD. However, we urge you to start slowly with a low amount to test your tolerance level.
Is there a recommended dose?
Of course, everyone is different, and everyone's reason for taking CBD varies. While there is no set dosage, we have found the recommended dosage charts from external sources may be helpful. (click here). We cannot and will not make any dosage claims, until the FDA releases findings and recommendations. Any claims that a product has health benefits or is medically helpful, safe, etc., are not FDA approved.
How can/should I use this product?
Our bean-to-bite pieces are great on the go or as a tasty treat after breakfast or before bed. Our spreads are delicious on fresh fruit, toast, rice cakes, in oatmeal, or by the spoon… the possibilities are endless. Tag us in your favorite #EatSoutheast. Like any new product on the market, it is always a good idea to discuss your use of the product with your healthcare professional.
When do you restock?
We do our best to restock as much as we can every day. Remember, our chocolates and spreads are handmade with only the freshest ingredients. We're regularly monitoring our orders and testing enticing new flavors. We're constantly churning away, getting those delicious bites packaged and shipped ASAP to our vendors and fantastic customers who order online!
Why do you ship only Mon, Tues, Wed, and why is shipping so expensive?
Chocolate is inherently sensitive. We want your chocolate to arrive in perfectly well-packaged condition. The only way we can guarantee that is to use fast shipping methods and to ship only during the week, so your order does not get stuck in a hot warehouse over a weekend.
It's 100 degrees outside. How do you ensure that my chocolate is not going to melt en route to me?
We carefully pack each item in thermal material, stuff the box with ice packs, and ship it using expedited shipping to minimize transit time.
Is there a bulk discount? (If I'm not an eligible reseller / no EIN)
We understand that folks LOVE our chocolates, and shipping chocolate isn't easy, so we're more than happy to accommodate larger orders with some special discounts. Email us at orders@SoutheastEdibles.com and for media inquiries, reach out to Social@southeastedibles.com – we'll always see what we can do.
Has my order shipped?
Remember, we only ship Mon/Tues/Wed to avoid your chocolate getting stuck in limbo on holidays and weekends. Stock up! You'll always receive a fresh product. We guarantee it!
Why is my order taking so long?
Currently, we are not shipping on weekends or days before the holidays. Since we need two full business days to fulfill your order, those placed late on Thursday or anytime on Friday will typically take a bit longer.
Is this website secure? What are your accepted forms of payment?
We currently accept all major credit and debit cards (Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover). Keep in mind that we can only ship to certain states. If your billing address is different from your shipping address, be sure to enter the correct information in these fields. Our website has the secured SSL Certificate installed, and your credit/debit card details do not get sent to us at all. Instead, they are securely transmitted to Square Payments, our credit card processor. We do not store or have your credit/debit card details on our servers.
I haven't received a tracking number!
Did you check your Spam or Promotional folder? If you still don't see it, feel free to reach out to info@southeastedibles.com.
I paid for 2-day shipping, but it's been two days, and my order hasn't arrived!
Please keep in mind that we must first process your order. From there, it will hopefully arrive within two additional business days. USPS has been known to stretch this to 3 business days occasionally. Please remember that we only ship on Mon/Tues/Wed and not on holidays or weekends.
I paid extra for First Class Shipping, and it's already been two days! Where's my package?
First Class Shipping usually takes 3-5 business days. The same is true for Standard Shipping, aka Free Shipping. Don't pay more for shipping if you don't need to! We're required to list different shipping options, regardless of their similarity.
It says my order has been delivered, but I don't see it!
Oh no, we hate to hear this. The USPS tracking system will often list a package as "delivered" for multiple days before it arrives, so you should probably give it another day or two. If you still don't see it, please reach out to your local post office, as they'll give a customer far more information than they'll provide to us. Then stay in touch and please let us know what happens. We're happy to help in any way we can.
